The Stour Centre is Ashford's main leisure centre, run by Freedom Leisure on behalf of Ashford Borough Council and sitting opposite Ashford International station. Day to day it is a sports facility - three swimming pools, two gyms and over 160 fitness classes a week following a major refurbishment - rather than a dedicated music venue, though its halls can be hired for community events and it runs a monthly inclusive club night with music. There is no regular public live music programme at present, so performers should treat it as an occasional events space rather than a gigging room and contact the centre directly about hall hire.
