Shobdon Airfield (ICAO EGBS) is the only licensed airfield in Herefordshire and home of the Herefordshire Aero Club since 1961, set in the small north-Herefordshire village of Shobdon near Leominster. Beyond flying, it doubles as an event venue with Meg's @ The Hotspur Café on site, and hosts live-music occasions through the year — the long-running Shobdon Food & Flying Festival (local food, aviation displays, crafts and live music), 1940s big-band/wartime weekenders and D-Day commemorations, the Shobdon Airfest, and dedicated 'Music + Fly' fly-in gigs. Events are weather-dependent and ticketed via the airfield's site.
