Scottish Gas Murrayfield is Scotland's national rugby stadium in the west of Edinburgh, a 67,144-capacity bowl run by Scottish Rugby and renamed under a five-year Scottish Gas partnership from 2023. Alongside international rugby it is one of Scotland's premier large-scale concert venues: David Bowie played to 47,000 here in 1983 and it hosted the Edinburgh leg of Live 8 in 2005. Its 2026 stadium-concert season includes Zach Bryan, Bon Jovi and two nights of country star Luke Combs. The nearest station is Haymarket, around ten minutes' walk away.
