Dalkeith Miners Welfare Club on Woodburn Road in Dalkeith, Midlothian, is a long-standing members' social club and Scottish registered charity (SC001182) that has become one of the area's busiest entertainment hubs. It runs two large function halls - the Main Gate, which takes 500 or more, and the Tail Gate at up to 150 - plus a 105-capacity games room called the Stable, each with its own private bar, large dance floor and DJ and lighting rig. Through 2026 it has run free-entry live local bands on Saturdays alongside a ticketed programme of tribute acts, Scottish comedy names, a Halloween ball and Christmas live-music bills.
