De Barra's Folk Club at 55 Pearse Street, Clonakilty, in West Cork, is one of Ireland's most storied small music rooms — a family-run pub and folk club whose reputation has travelled far beyond Cork over more than thirty years. The intimate room (around 180 capacity) has hosted everyone from Christy Moore and Roy Harper to Sharon Shannon and Villagers, and was long associated with the late Noel Redding of the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Traditional sessions run on Monday nights, with a monthly Céilí All-Stars session on the last Sunday. Despite the slug, this venue is in Clonakilty, Ireland, not London.
