The Old Fire Station is an iconic south-coast venue at 36 Holdenhurst Road in the heart of Bournemouth (BH8 8AD). Since 1995 it has served as nightclub and live-music venue for the Students' Union at Bournemouth University while staying open to the public for gigs and events throughout the year. It runs as a 550-capacity live-music room and a 1,200-capacity nightclub, hosting touring rock, indie, pop and alternative acts (recent bookings include Gary Numan) as well as club nights. It is a recognised stop on Independent Venue Week.
