Nortons Digbeth is an independent Irish bar and live-music venue at 43-45 Meriden Street in Birmingham's Irish Quarter, Digbeth (B5 5LS) — a converted factory rebuilt by friends and family as a contemporary take on an Irish pub. It holds around 500 indoors plus a further 200 in a covered, heated beer garden, and runs free live music every Thursday to Sunday spanning folk, funk, jazz and trad, with bigger ticketed shows staged in The Back Room. Alongside the music it serves pizzas, spice bags and Saturday-morning Irish breakfasts, pours cask ales from local breweries such as Purity, Attic and Birmingham Brewery Company, and shows live sport on big screens. A genuine grassroots cornerstone of the Digbeth scene.
