Nortons Digbeth is an independent Irish bar and live-music venue at 43-45 Meriden Street in Birmingham's Irish Quarter, Digbeth (B5 5LS), a converted factory rebuilt by friends and family as a contemporary take on an Irish pub. Live music runs late into the night every Friday and Saturday in the front bar, with trad sessions and bigger ticketed shows staged in The Back Room, the venue's own 500-capacity room, plus a covered, heated beer garden out the back. Alongside the music it serves pizzas, spice bags and Saturday-morning Irish breakfasts, pours cask ales from local breweries such as Purity, Attic and Birmingham Brewery Company, and shows live sport on big screens. A genuine grassroots cornerstone of the Digbeth scene.
