Upfront Arts Venue sits in beautifully converted 17th-century farm buildings near Hutton-in-the-Forest at Unthank, just outside Penrith. Established in 1997, it pairs an art gallery, vegetarian café and a purpose-built 128-seat puppet theatre with a music venue and event space hosting live performances. As one of the few rural arts venues in the Eden valley between Penrith and Keswick, it offers an intimate, characterful setting for gigs and shows.
