The Town Crier is a family-friendly city-centre pub on Corporation Street in Coventry (CV1 1PB), praised by locals as one of the few spots in the centre offering both genuinely good homemade food and proper live music. Bands play every Saturday night from 9:30pm, and there's a popular Open Mic Night every Thursday with drinks offers running all evening, alongside Monday quiz nights and midweek darts. The booking is broad and grassroots — covers bands, rock and acoustic acts welcomed across the in-house PA — set against a traditional, laid-back pub backdrop pouring two regular and two rotating real ales plus up to four ciders.
