About The Reporter

The Reporter is a grassroots music venue in Belfast, Belfast. PA system and vocal mics are provided; bring your own instruments and amps.

This listing is part of the Belfast venue directory.

The Reporter is a craft-beer bar on Union Street in Belfast's Cathedral Quarter, next to the Irish News and the old Belfast Telegraph building, with a name that nods to the city's newspaper-printing heritage. It runs an event or live entertainment every night of the week: live music on Fridays and Saturdays, open mic on Thursdays and a vinyl listening party on Sundays, plus trivia, bingo and arts-and-crafts nights midweek. Dog-friendly and open seven days (2pm–1am), it champions Northern Irish breweries (Beer Hut, Bullhouse, Lacada) and local spirits. A reliable grassroots spot for local talent.
