The Pelham Arms is a friendly community pub at 78 Chichester Road, North End, Portsmouth (PO2 0AH), built in 1887 in 'brewer's Tudor' style and originally opened as a hotel by the Pike Spicer Brewery. It has a large lawned beer garden and patio, a function room, and a snug with pool, darts, big screens and a jukebox. Live music runs every Sunday — popular local bands and musicians — with a monthly open-mic night on the third Tuesday and live DJs/karaoke on the first Friday of the month. A weekly quiz (Mondays, 7.30pm), darts and a pool team round out a busy community-pub calendar. Family- and dog-friendly.
