The Old Nun's Head is a traditional 1930s mock-Tudor community pub on Nunhead Green in Nunhead, south-east London (postcode SE15 3QQ), close to Peckham Rye station. Behind the wood-panelled bar and working fireplaces sits an upstairs function room with its own stage and sound system that holds up to 80 standing. The pub has built a reputation as one of south-east London's busiest unofficial queer venues, programming drag, cabaret, comedy, club nights and weekend DJs (disco through to Northern Soul), alongside a Thursday quiz and a rotating roster of kitchen pop-ups.
