The George Orwell is a literary-themed pub at 168 Perth Road in Dundee's popular West End (formerly Clancy's Irish Bar), decorated with Orwell memorabilia and themed book covers to give it a bookish, contemporary feel. It's a lively spot on the student-heavy West End scene, hosting a weekly open-mic night plus regular arts and jazz events, games nights, quizzes and DJ sets.
