It hosts everything from well-known touring bands to grassroots and original artists, plus the city's longest-running new-material/open-mic comedy night, spoken-word and poetry open mics, film, visual art and a book club. A diverse crowd of students, artists and musicians has made it a genuine cultural anchor for Plymouth's independent scene, and it's a listed folk venue too.
