The Abbey Bar is a friendly town-centre pub at 8 Lawn Street, Paisley (Renfrewshire). It runs a strong weekly entertainment programme — an Open Mic night every Monday (9pm-midnight), a general-knowledge quiz on Wednesdays and karaoke on Saturdays. The open mic is well-equipped for performers: acoustic, electric and bass guitars are provided along with a cajon and a two-mic setup for duos, all through a house PA. With a beer garden, function room, pool table and big screens for football, it's a lively grassroots music hub for Paisley's local talent. Both originals and covers welcome.
