Saltbox is a purpose-built live-music venue, bar and kitchen on Bolero Square in central Nottingham (NG1 1LY), set over three lavishly stocked bar areas with an in-house kitchen serving Nashville and southern fried chicken, plus an outdoor terrace. It runs a regularly updated What's On calendar that mixes live music with sport on multiple screens, workshops and movie nights. Recently reopened under new management, it sits a short walk from the city's main nightlife and is geared toward bands and solo acts who want a proper PA and a music-first room.
