About Drakes

Drakes is a grassroots music venue in Maidstone, Maidstone with a standing capacity of approximately 60. Bring your own PA, mics and instruments.

This listing is part of the Maidstone venue directory.

Drakes Cork and Cask sits by the River Medway at 9 Fairmeadow in the heart of Maidstone (ME14 1JP), in a building that first opened as the Lamb Inn back in 1636. It's a craft-beer and cask-ale pub with live music woven through the week: a jam night every Tuesday, full live music every Friday and Saturday at 9pm, and a 'Make Some Noise' original-music showcase on the last Sunday of the month (Sunday sets around 4pm). A large, partly-covered courtyard hosts live entertainment every weekend, so the action spills outdoors in good weather. Dog-friendly, with a pool table, dartboard and board games, Drakes welcomes both originals and covers from local players. Capacity is around 60 standing.
