Wollaton Park is the sweeping 500-acre Elizabethan deer park surrounding Wollaton Hall, just west of Nottingham city centre, and one of the East Midlands' premier outdoor concert sites. Each July it transforms into the home of Splendour Festival — Nottingham's flagship two-day music event, run by Nottingham City Council and DHP Family since 2008. The 2026 edition (18-19 July) spreads chart-topping headliners and emerging local talent across five stages, with The Wombats, Snow Patrol, Primal Scream, Editors, The Flaming Lips and Craig David's TS5 among the bill, alongside comedy, a funfair, silent disco, market stalls and a dedicated kids' area. The illuminated silhouette of Wollaton Hall forms a dramatic backdrop to the main stage, making this one of the most striking open-air music settings in the region.
