The Yard MCR is an independent creative hub and arts venue at 11 Bent Street, Cheetham Hill, Manchester (M8 8NF), ten minutes' walk from the city centre and Victoria station. Founded in 2019 inside a former Victorian school, its converted classrooms house music studios, fashion brands, designers, a theatre company and artists. With a seated capacity of around 120, it runs a diverse programme spanning jazz, folk and DJs alongside opera, classical orchestras and touring theatre — a deliberately inclusive, non-political space built around creativity, connection and community.
