The Warehouse is a legendary Leeds nightclub at 19-21 Somers Street, in the heart of the city centre. Founded in 1979 — pre-dating Manchester's Hacienda — it became the epicentre of clubbing in the North of England, hosting everyone from Frankie Goes to Hollywood and the Sugar Hill Gang to Oasis, The Stone Roses, Sasha, Greg Wilson, LFO and Mike Pickering. A recent full remodel added a Funktion One Dance Stacks rig, lighting rigs, colour lasers, CO2 jets, new dance levels, bars and air conditioning. With a capacity of around 1,000, the club runs late club nights Monday to Wednesday (10:30pm-4am) and Friday-Saturday (10:30pm-5am), with a music policy spanning house, electronic and indie. House PA and in-house engineering throughout.
