Volks is a long-running Brighton seafront club and live-music venue at 3 The Colonnade, Madeira Drive (BN2 1PS), at the foot of Kemptown. For over 25 years it has led the city's underground and new club-night scene across two rooms - a basement of around 60 and a larger ground-floor main room - to a total capacity of about 300. The sound system swings between reggae, dub, breaks, dubstep, drum & bass and disco, and it regularly hosts live bands and emerging artists alongside DJ nights.
