The Union Bar is Queen's University Belfast's Students' Union bar, on the second floor of the One Elmwood Student Centre at 77 University Road / Elmwood Avenue in the Botanic area (BT9 6AZ), with an outdoor terrace. Open seven days a week with food, drink offers and free entertainment every night — quizzes, bingo, club nights and live sport — it also doubles as a genuine live-music venue, hosting Belfast's grassroots and DIY scene. Recent gigs include the EP launch by punk band Mucker (members of And So I Watch You From Afar and Bomb City 7) plus acts such as Sister Ghost and Ria Timkin across a wide range of genres.
