About The Troubadour

The Troubadour is a grassroots music venue in Earl's Court, London with a standing capacity of approximately 120. Bring your own PA, mics and instruments.

The Troubadour books Folk, Acoustic, Singer-songwriter, Rock, Blues acts. Both original music and covers are welcome. This listing is part of the London venue directory.

The Troubadour is one of London's most storied live-music rooms — a nightclub, café and pub at 263-267 Old Brompton Road, Earl's Court (SW5 9JA), established in 1954 and among the last surviving coffee-house clubs of its era. Its atmospheric cellar (around 120 capacity) was a cornerstone of the British folk revival and has hosted Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, Elton John and, more recently, Adele and Florence Welch. It still offers live music seven days a week — ticketed gigs downstairs spanning folk, acoustic, singer-songwriter, rock and blues, plus free music upstairs in the café, a garden for sunny days and a handful of hotel rooms.
