The Royal Park is a traditional pub on Queen's Road in the heart of Hyde Park, Leeds (LS6 1NY), a lively student-area local that doubles as a grassroots live-music venue. Its 100-capacity basement room, the Royal Park Cellar, is kitted out for live events with a full mixing desk and drum riser — a stage with genuine pedigree, since The Clash played here in 1985. Upstairs the pub keeps HD sports screens, a large summer beer garden and a hireable function room, and draws regular crowds for its £1 Sunday-night 'Universally Challenged' quiz. A staple of the Leeds Headingley/Hyde Park music and student scene.
