The Old Cold Store is a live-music and events space inside Castle Rock Brewery, Nottingham's biggest brewery, a short walk from Nottingham railway station. Named after its former job keeping the brewery's beer cold, it is now an industrial, minimalist room with an adaptable stage, a top-of-the-range bar, a large open floor and a smoking area. Working with promoters Revolution Sounds (formerly of The Maze) and Rat Cat, it has built a strong reputation for live music and club nights — from local underground bands to touring alternative, rock, punk and metal acts (e.g. Monsters of Rock, Gypsy Pistoleros).
