The Mist Rolling Inn is a compact micropub and microbrewery roughly halfway up Derby Road, between the Strathdon Hotel and Canning Circus on the western edge of Nottingham city centre. Its basement gig room — affectionately named 'Gorillas in the Mist', reached down the side alley and stairs — is an intimate, sweaty live space firmly rooted in the grassroots rock, alternative, metal and punk scene, regularly putting on local and touring underground bands (recent bills include TRANKS, Kid Spirit, Confyde and Boomslang). A true small-room champion of original DIY music in Nottingham.
