A multi-functional, three-floor venue, its main room holds 230 for live shows and 350 for club nights. The programme is predominantly indie gigs followed by danceable club nights that veer towards house, disco and soul, plus a wider mix of functions from chess classes to private hires. The space has cycled through several names over the past decade — The Left Bank, Octopus Diamond, the Green Room and GRV — before settling as The Mash House, and is run as part of the Old Town Pub Co.
