The Lending Room is a 200-capacity grassroots music venue above the Library pub at 229 Woodhouse Lane in Leeds (LS2 3AP), close to the university. Housed in a building that has been a fire station and a library across its history, it now hosts everything from local superstars to international touring acts across all genres — indie, rock, punk, grunge and tribute nights among them. Unlike a BYO room, it runs a state-of-the-art in-house sound system with a fully qualified in-house promotion team, sound engineers and friendly staff. Access is via stairs only; bookings via tom@lendingroom.co.uk.
