The Klondyke is a much-loved South Manchester social club and grassroots music venue at 1 Burnage Range in Levenshulme (M19 2HQ). Originally the Levenshulme Bowling & Social Club, it was taken over by Les James in 2004 and reinvented into a community institution. Its opulent function room holds up to 200 people and hosts Band Nights, an Artists' Open Mic, club nights, gigs and festivals (including the Levenshulme Beer, Gin & Food Festival), alongside snooker, pool, darts and pop-up food. A genuine grass-roots Manchester institution with an outdoor bowling green.
