The Glee Club Birmingham is an award-winning live comedy and music venue inside The Arcadian at 70 Hurst Street (B5 4TD), opened in September 1994 by Mark Tughan as the city's flagship comedy club. It runs stand-up every Thursday, Friday and Saturday plus live music and comedy tour shows all year round across its two performance rooms, each with a raised stage. After the closure of Birmingham's Ronnie Scott's, the promoter who booked its rock and pop acts moved across to the Glee, making it a genuine music-and-comedy venue.
