The Fed is a cultural events and live-music venue on Lancaster Road in Gateshead (NE11 9JR), just off the A1 and formerly known as The Lancastrian Suite. The main suite seats and stands up to around 1,000 guests with an unobstructed view of a purpose-built stage backed by extensive in-house AV, state-of-the-art lighting and three large video walls. Its programme covers contemporary and classical concerts, tribute and cultural music shows, professional comedy nights, plus weddings, conferences and banqueting. Note: the imported 'London / Dunston and Teams' detail is partly off — the venue is in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear (the Dunston area is nearby), and the old fedlondon.com address is incorrect; the real site is the-fed.co.uk.
