The Crown Inn is a traditional cask-ale and home-cooked-food pub in the village of Heather, near Coalville, Leicestershire — families and pets welcome. It has carved out a name on the live-music scene as host of 'Skanking at the Crown', Leicestershire's outdoor ska, mod and reggae all-dayer, which returns for its seventh edition on Saturday 11 July 2026 with a full day of bands and DJs in support of charity. Alongside these flagship outdoor events it runs regular live music through the year, making it a friendly grassroots spot for ska, reggae and mod sounds in north-west Leicestershire.
