The Crescent (The Crescent Community Venue) is a fully licensed grassroots concert and events venue at 8 The Crescent in York's Micklegate quarter, minutes from York railway station. Housed in a former Working Men's Club with more than a century of community history, its 300-capacity concert room has a large stage, professional 6kW PA, full lighting rig, industry-standard live and DJ equipment and a wooden dancefloor (standing, seated or cabaret). A daily front bar with its own 2kW system, games room and projector completes the building. It's one of York's most important rooms for touring and local original music.
