The Crescent (also listed as The Crescent Club / Crescent Community Venue) is a fully licensed grassroots bar, concert and events venue at 8 The Crescent in York's Micklegate area, just a short walk from the railway station. A former Working Men's Club with over 100 years of history, its 300-capacity concert room has a large stage, professional 6kW PA and lighting, industry-standard live and DJ equipment, and a wooden dancefloor configurable for standing, seated or cabaret shows. The front bar runs daily with its own 2kW DJ rig, games room and screen. It's one of York's key rooms for touring and local original bands across indie, rock, punk and beyond.
