The Chapel is the live room inside The Angel Microbrewery, a historic Grade II-listed pub in Nottingham's Lace Market at 7 Stoney Street (NG1 1LG), home to the on-site Angel Ales brewery, a kitchen and several bookable spaces. The Chapel became a music venue in the 1980s and has since hosted the likes of Oasis, Kasabian and Arctic Monkeys. Holding around 110, it runs free live music in the pub every weekend plus ticketed gigs, poetry open mics and club nights across the week, with strong acoustics and an in-house sound system. Programming spans alternative, rock, metal, indie and drum & bass.
