The Black Market is one of the premier live-music venues in North Nottinghamshire, set up in November 2005 and situated at 43 High Street, Warsop (Mansfield, NG20 0AB), just off the A60 between Mansfield and Worksop. A late-night bar, brewery (home of Black Market Illicit beer) and restaurant rolled into one, it has a large open floor (roughly 25m x 16m) with capacity ranging from around 100 up to 500+ for bigger shows. The programme is rock-led — tribute bands, blues nights, comedy and Thursday open-mic sessions — and includes flagship events such as 'MOR '86 Revisited', a 40th-anniversary tribute to the 1986 Monsters of Rock at Donington. (Note: the imported 'London / 248 Ferndale Rd' address and blackculturemarket.co.uk website are incorrect and belong to a different organisation; this is the Warsop Black Market.)
