The Assembly Rooms of Glastonbury is a community arts centre on the High Street in historic Glastonbury, Somerset (BA6 9DU). Its Victorian Main Hall — built to Golden Mean proportions and prized for its natural acoustics — anchors a multi-purpose space that also takes in workshop rooms, a fully-licensed bar and a cafe serving coffee and homemade cakes. The Rooms have a deep arts heritage (early-20th-century Glastonbury Festivals associated with composer Rutland Boughton) and today host a broad live-music and theatre programme spanning many genres, from acoustic singer-songwriters and folk to tribute and 'unplugged' shows, alongside fairs and conferences. The original import mis-filed the city as London; the venue is firmly in Glastonbury town centre.
