The Assembly is a stunning art-deco, multi-function live-music venue in the heart of Leamington Spa, at Spencer Street, Leamington Spa CV31 3NF. The main hall holds 1,000 standing (or 400 seated), with a 150-capacity balcony available for private hire. It opened in summer 2008 after a multi-million-pound redevelopment designed by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and won the Music Week Award for Best Live Music Venue in 2010. The programme is broad — touring rock, indie and electronic acts, reggae and ska (including Toots and the Maytals' Reggae Got Soul 50th-anniversary tour), tribute shows and club nights — making it the principal mid-size live-music room for south Warwickshire and the wider Coventry area.
