Stanhill Social Club (formerly Stanhill Working Men's Club) sits at 40 Stanhill Road in Oswaldtwistle, near Accrington, Lancashire (BB5 4PP). Founded as a working men's club in 1918, it reopened its membership to all in 2016 and has since won Committee of the Year at the national Club Mirror awards. The club pairs a relaxed lounge and games room (snooker and pool) with a hireable function room that hosts live music on Saturday nights — covers bands, tribute acts and themed evenings such as Northern Soul and Motown and ska. Cask ale is served Thursday to Sunday. Despite the import filing it under Blackburn, the club is in Oswaldtwistle.
