The Collegiate Church of St Mary is a busy parish church in the centre of Warwick with Norman origins, and a prestigious, popular venue for amateur, professional and school concerts. Its musical heritage stretches back more than 900 years and is regarded as one of the finest expressions of the cathedral-style choral tradition in the Midlands, with choirs of boys, girls, men and the St Mary's Scholars alongside guest instrumentalists. The events programme mixes sacred choral concerts (such as Pergolesi's Stabat Mater) with popular candlelit tribute shows — Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Tina Turner and the music of Westlife performed by live bands and West End vocalists.
