South Parade Pier is a traditional seaside pier in Southsea, Portsmouth, whose live-entertainment heart is The Gaiety — a striking art-deco music and events room with panoramic sea views, available for gigs, tribute nights, weddings and functions. The Gaiety holds anywhere from 50 to 600 people (around 350 seated), and its calendar runs tribute and live acts such as Indie 80s, The Madchester Experience, Cream Classics and Chris Stapleton tribute shows, alongside tea dances, comedy and boxing nights. The wider pier carries the usual seaside attractions — amusement arcade, fish and chips, a licensed restaurant and ice-cream parlour — making it a multi-use waterfront entertainment destination.
