Sneaky Pete's is a 100-capacity grassroots music venue and nightclub on Edinburgh's Cowgate, in the heart of the Old Town, open and busy almost every night for both live shows and club nights. Small but fiercely respected, it's an accredited Grassroots Music Venue welcoming music fans of all identities across gender, disability and race, and has built a reputation as a stepping-stone room — early-career sets from the likes of Ed Sheeran, Foals and Alt-J passed through here. Live gigs span indie, rock, electronic and folk and run from 7pm to a 10pm curfew, after which the room flips to DJ-led club nights (indie, techno, disco) from 11pm. Its intimate scale and packed programme make it a cornerstone of Edinburgh's underground scene.
