People's Leisure Club is a new multi-arts nightclub and live-music venue that opened on 12 September 2025 in the basement of the former Boteco Latin dance club on Lothian Street, Edinburgh's Old Town. A collaboration between neighbouring pub Paradise Palms, the Kelburn Garden Party festival and Fringe promoter Gilded Balloon, it holds 200+ with immersive audio, private booths and a community-first ethos. Programming leans Latin and club-focused — Los Chichanos' EP launch fiesta, reggaeton/dembow nights and live-band fusion among them.
