Nexus Cafe is a proudly independent, women-of-colour-owned speciality coffee shop at 38 Meriden Street in Digbeth, Birmingham, which opened at the end of 2024. Alongside its core café offer it runs a community programme of coffee tastings, art exhibitions and monthly live music — recent events have included acoustic evenings, the Rhythm & Brews session and the Digbeth Kids EP launch from artist Tarju Le'Sano. Open daytime (Mon–Fri 8am–6pm, weekends 10am–6pm), it's a warm, intimate grassroots space rather than a late-night gig room.
