The Millennium Forum is the largest accessible theatre and conference centre in the North West of Ireland, on Newmarket Street in Derry/Londonderry (BT48 6EB). Opened in 2001, it was the first purpose-built theatre in the city and has the largest theatre stage in Ireland, with seating for around 1,000 and over 320,000 visitors a year. Its year-round programme — split into Spring/Summer, Autumn and Winter seasons — spans West End shows, concerts and live music, musicals, comedy, dance, drama and pantomime. A major receiving house rather than a grassroots room, it remains a cornerstone live-performance venue for the city.
