The Lyric Theatre is a traditional art-deco, Grade II listed theatre on King Street in Carmarthen, West Wales, operated by Theatrau Sir Gar (Carmarthenshire County Council). It seats around 593 across three levels — stalls, mezzanine and circle — and the first six rows of the stalls are removable so the room can be reconfigured for cabaret-style shows. A 2007 refurbishment added a smaller studio space for rehearsals and intimate events. The programme spans touring music (including acoustic shows such as Wet Wet Wet), comedy, ballet, opera and pantomime. Despite the '-london' import slug, this venue is firmly in Carmarthen, Wales.
