The Loco Klub is Bristol's atmospheric underground arts, music and theatre venue, hidden in the former Ash Pits of Brunel's original 1840s station beneath Bristol Temple Meads. It occupies a warren of restored Brunel-built railway arches plus the remnants of the old Railway workers' social club, lit and dressed in Victorian style. The layout runs across multiple tunnels of varying size — a main stage tunnel that holds up to roughly 400 for club nights and gigs, a traverse studio for immersive theatre, and a garden space for pre-show loitering. Programming spans live music (rock, metal, alternative, electronic), club nights and immersive theatre, and the space is widely hired for events. Entrance off Clock Tower Yard / Temple Gate.
