Mountford Hall, in the Liverpool Guild of Students on Mount Pleasant, is a 2,300-capacity live-music venue and Liverpool's second-largest concert space (behind the M&S Bank Arena). It has hosted major gigs since 1965 — from era-defining bands to today's touring acts — and following a £14.5 million refurbishment of the Guild it boasts state-of-the-art AV facilities suited to large performances and events. As a professionally run hall it provides full in-house production and PA. It books pop, rock, indie and DJ/electronic shows.
