Kelvingrove Bandstand and Amphitheatre is a restored open-air venue in Glasgow's Kelvingrove Park, sitting between the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and the University of Glasgow in the West End. Originally built in 1925 and in use until 1999, it was restored and reopened and is now a sought-after summer concert venue managed by Glasgow Life, with a capacity of around 2,200. It's fully equipped for open-air live music, dance, theatre and spoken word, and has hosted the likes of Sir Tom Jones, Van Morrison and Texas alongside festival programmes and cinema screenings.
