The Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) is one of London's leading spaces for contemporary culture, housed in a landmark building on The Mall in St James's (SW1Y 5AH). It commissions and presents new work across film, music, performance and the visual arts, and its live-music programme leans into experimental, electronic and contemporary sounds — recent and upcoming acts include Jenny Hval, Matthew Herbert, Real Lies, Tanya Tagaq, Loraine James and Jan Jelinek, plus the CTM Festival. The theatre is fitted with a state-of-the-art 360° d&b Soundscape system used for 'In the Round' performances from the centre of the room. A serious, well-equipped venue for forward-looking original music.
